Offset Proofers to produce colour prints with conventional and UV offset inks. Available in versions with a print width of 50 and 70 mm and with multiple prints on one substrate. An adapter is available to print directly on metal cans or tubes or the special version CTx3 can print on any diameter of tubes and cans from inner diameter 16 mm up to 68 mm.
The IGT C1 printability testers for offset inks are easy to operate and very successful all over the world. The C1 makes colour strips with offset inks with a known ink film thickness, which can be used for many purposes. It has especially been designed for use in colour measuring and colour matching systems. The C1 saves on costs (down time of the printing presses and waste of materials), because colour testing on the printing presses is no longer necessary.
IGT Orange Proofers are low cost, versatile and easy to operate printability testers to reduce costs in printing and quality control. The Orange Proofers are used in ink laboratories of printing houses and ink manufacturers. With these testers highly reproducible prints are made with offset inks on most substrates. Properties as e.g. colour, transparency, density, ink transfer, penetration can be tested on these prints. The ink tests on the Orange Proofer reduce downtime of the printing press and waste of materials.
