Rheology measurements are a major factor in the development and production of printing inks, raw materials for inks and other pasty liquids.
IGT offers a range of devices suited for this purpose:
CloudOScope to measure the cloud point of a resin.
HydrOscope to measure emulsification behaviour of an ink.
ViscOMeter to measure viscosity of viscous materials

CloudOscope

CloudOscope: Instrument to measure the cloudpoint of a resin. Advanced cloud point tester to determine the cloud point of a resin under exact predefined conditions.

Drying Time tester

The Drying Time Tester is designed to determine the absorption behaviour and drying time of inks printed on paper, carton, plastic or metal foils. Set-off characteristics of otherwise coated or laminated materials can also be tested.

HydrOscope

HydrOscope: to measure the emulsification behaviour of an ink using a roller based system. Performs tack measurement in combination with torque measurement.

SimplyMix
Ink Mixer

The IGT SimplyMix Ink Mixer is an economical laboratory-sized instrument for the rapid mixing of small amounts of different materials that would otherwise require a long time and/or effort to mix.

Laray Viscometer Automated

Laray Viscometer Automated: designed to measure the viscosity of viscous materials, especially of varnish, high viscous oils and paste printing inks. With automatically calculation of viscosity in specific software in an integrated computer.
