Accessory to execute Print Penetration tests on the Global Standard Tester 1 or 1W.

Complete set for executing the Print Penetration test.

The content of the set is depending of the IGT Printability Tester on which it will be used.

Therefor we kindly ask you to mention the name and serialnumber of the equipment for which equipment the set is intended.
There are 2 different test sets available: with or without a dispenser.

Accessory to execute Print Penetration tests on the Global Standard Tester 1 or 1W.

Accessory to execute Print penetration tests on the AIC2-5T2000.

At the moment of printing a quantity of ink or varnish is absorbed by the surface of the paper. This amount is determined by the absorption of liquid in the surface recesses (roughness) and the absorption into the paper pores at the surface. The sum of these two phenomena is determined as the oil absorption or varnishability. The reciprocal value of this is called print penetration.

The test be executed on the following IGT Printability testers:

  • Amsterdam 1, 2 , 5 and 6
  • AIC2-5T2000
  • AIC2-5
  • Global Standard Tester 1 and 1W
